VERSATILE . CHARMING . HARDWORKING : Amit Tandon is an Indian television actor and musician.
He was a finalist in Indian Idol Season 1 and has continued to be a singing sensation eversince. His solo album, Tanha was one of the most popular albums of the year.

After his successful stint as a musician, he forayed into acting when he signed his first television show, Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hain in 2005. Since then, there has been no turning back as he proved his mettle by continuing to feature in many successful television shows which have been massively popular. He is however best known and most loved for his character of Dr. Abhimanyu Modi in the superhit youth show, Dil Mil Gaye. Later, he went on to even hosting events and many successful reality shows like Dadagiri, Battle of the Sexes and Star Parivaar Awards. He even put his dancing shoes and prowess on display on the reality show Zara Nachke Dikha. Whether it’s singing, dancing, hosting, acting, Amit has done it all and mastered each one of them.

Amit appeared in the hit Balaji Telefilms show, Yeh Hain Mohabbatein where he played the character of an estranged doctor, Dr. Subramaniam (Subbu) Chandran. He is married to Dr. Ruby Tandon and has a lovely daughter, Jiyana.

Over the years, Amit has been a heartthrob for his many fans in the country and abroad and has been entertaining them equally through acting and music. He now plans to go back to his roots as a musician and continue to entertain his fans by coming out with new covers and singles every month starting with the song, Jeeya te Jeeya.
